17 weeks...I feel like there is a brick in my stomach!
Is this normal? My stomach feels, literally, heavy. I am not even showing THAT much yet! I do have round ligament issues, could that be a part of it?

I am 17 weeks too and I feel pressure in my abdomen right where the baby is. I think it's just from the stretching and the weight of the uterus.

At 17 weeks I was convinced I had a urinary tract infection because of the heaviness in my lower abdomen. I didn't.
Hang in there. It felt a little better in a week or so. I'm at 19w5d now.

I am 18wks and have the same thing all day long. My dr. said to try to walk more and also cut salt from my diet. If you are a petite like me, my dr. said there isn't much room in your abdomen area and salt makes you retain water, which results in bloating which is prob. the cause of the pressure. I had it for a week straight and thought it was food I had eaten, but finally called my dr. b/c i was so uncomfortable on Mon. I have reduced salt and walk more at work and after dinner and have found some relief.

I just asked my sister about this yesterday b/c I thought something was wrong with me. I'm having pressure/sharp pains on my lower right abdomen, and she told me it could be round ligament pains.

i have the same thing and i will be 18 weeks on sunday, but when i talked to my dr, he said its all normal
