Superintendent Conference Days, inservice credit, graduate credit, grading assessments (Regents, ELA exams, etc), being a mentor, conferences, curriculum development, data anaylsis, cooperating teacher for a student teacher, etc
Specifics are located here: 175 hours of Professional Development
I know regular faculty meeting do NOT count.

When I said conferences, I was referring to professional conferences you would attend. I believe parent teacher conferences do not count as they do not further your development as an educator.
Getting your admin cert would count.

I THINK team meetings count, but I could be wrong since I thought faculty meetings count as well.

Does anyone know how you would input data analysis or supervisory meetings into the professional development record on TEACH online? Since I do not work for a district I need to maintain the record myself and am just not sure how to word it on there or what kind of proof I need to reflect that I've done these things?

Do the days like Brroklyn Queens day and Election days when there are no kids count?
Also whata bout the days before Labor day when we used to come back that Thursday and Friday

I would think yes to both of those things..I am trying to calculate the hours for my admin. cert..I think that will cover all of the hours on its own! I also did grade tests 2 years...I found one paystub from it and it seemed like 75 hours but I didn't put that...

My assistant superintendent had a meeting with all people who are professionally certified. He gave us a long list of what can and can not be counted according to information he received at state ed.

You are suppose to keep track of your hours and then you pass the information onto your district office. Your school district is suppose to input them for you.
I am not sure what you do if you are not employed.

My school gave us a form to keep track. Also, they told us our faculty conferences do count. Maybe it depends on the school since the principal is the one that signs off on the hours?

I think you are 100% right..when I called the dept. that collects the form, they said the principal decides to sign off, the only thing their office does is submit the forms to the state...

Sorry I don't work for a district, so please excuse me if I am making no sense haha
But what is the difference between professional development courses/classes and actually taking credits or classes for your + credits when you have a masters?
I am trying to figure out what I am doing this summer. I want to take professional development classes to go towards my hours. But I am afraid to get to many + credits on top of my Masters this summer. I am afriad it will make me less marketable since schools have to pay me more then.
