has anyone done this? I went through the whole process. They said they were going to send me the software and a training schedule. That was over 2 weeks ago & I have yet to receive anything. They did not give me any information on how to contact them if there was a problem. I called the corporate office, but they use an outside recruiting company and could not give me any info.

I had a phone interview today- it went well. Not sure if I am going to take it since it is only 6-10hrs per week during non-peak time.

I went through the entire thing and when they told me how much they paid I said no thank you. Plus during peak times it was really bad hours.

Re: 1800 Flowers is hiring at home workers again
I posted about this job on another board last year and tons of the girls from all over the country work for them now. They get paid roughly $10 and the work is super easy they say.

Re: 1800 Flowers is hiring at home workers again
I worked for them, but there are a few things they may not discusss in detail on the phone interview
1. The $10 an hour pay is only applicable for the first 90 days, then the rate goes down to $7 and you need to earn the other 3 - 4 dollars an hour. They rate you oncriteria such as your sales, promptness and adherence to your schedule
2. You set your schedules up for 90 days at a time, this was difficult for me because DH works a rotating schedule every week.
3. You must have a land line phone for the business with no features like caller id or call waiting. Verizon I believe offers a dial tone only service. No cell phones, cordless or internet based phones are allowed

Re: 1800 Flowers is hiring at home workers again
They just called me for my interview and because I don't have a landline, they couldn't continue the interview.

I can see the call waiting, but caller ID? So basically you have to install a second line in your home dedicated to this job?
Hmmmmmm

Re: 1800 Flowers is hiring at home workers again
I would guess if you turn your anonymous call rejection off you might be able to use your regular landline

Re: 1800 Flowers is hiring at home workers again
So after one month and numerous emails to the HR department at 1800 flowers, they still have not resolved the issues with the recruiting company.
I have no idea what the problem is.......

Re: 1800 Flowers is hiring at home workers again
I worked for them from home. I stopped b/c for the low amount of hours available the disorganization drove me NUTS.
15 minutes of training would take 3 hours and I couldnt handle it.
