So....I held off posting this but I know the power of prayer works....
...and would like to ask your help.
My mom was diagnosed with Stomach Cancer and is going in for surgery tomorrow. We don't have any clear answers as to how bad it is, only that it is operable (which is good).
So I'm just asking for prayers for her that she makes it through the surgery okay and they can get all the cancer out.

Update:
She did really well!!!
After waiting four hours for them to take her into the OR, the surgery was done in exactly 3.5 hours (which is what the surgeon told us on Monday). They removed her lower stomach and a small tumor on her pancreas - which seems to be benign and some surrounding lymph nodes which also seem to be okay. We will have a full pathology report in five to seven days.
We finally got in to see her at 9:30 p.m. and she was extremely out of it but looked good!!
