1st b/day menu
We are having a backyard party for DS birthday and originally I was going to do bbq but then it broke today and I am not sure we will be able to get a new one in time. So instead, I was thinking heroes. I am also going to do a baked ziti, salad, and appetizers and some cake. However, I am not sure if I should have some "kid things". DS will eat deli meat and baked ziti so I am not worried about him - just the other kids. Any suggestions? Also, how many heroes do you think for about 50 people? Thanks! Liz

Re: 1st b/day menu
If you order a hero, just ask the deli and they will suggest a good size. I would go a little smaller if you plan on having other foods. A great kids menu choice is always chicken nuggets. You can buy a big bag at the grocery sotre or BJ's.

Re: 1st b/day menu
We are having a similar menu minus the heroes. To make it a little more kid friendly, we are going to do the baked ziti, salad, meatballs, and pizza.

chicken nuggets or pigs in a blanket and some fries is a good kiddie thing to have on hand.
