I did DS' 1st birthday/cake smash pictures at Target and they came out really good, and the prices were great too!

Just realize that there is no editing at Target and the timeframe is usually short as well and I think they only take 20 pics. And it is usually not a 'well trained' photographer. I am not sure if this is important to you or not but just wanted to mention it! I have spent a lot of money for pics at Target as well -so I didn't feel like I save that much money! But, if you can get a groupon, it might be a great deal!
I have used target a few times and have had mixed experiences there (same for Clix). I have used a pro. photographer numerous times. I will now only use a pro. photographer-especially for the more important 'life' events
... but I am kind of picky with my pics!
Post your price range and I can give you recommendations! :)

I highly recommend Mona at Fenfoto. The links below will take you to the cake smash page and also my gallery so you can get an idea of what she does. There were 12 or 13 pictures that I just couldn't narrow down because I loved them so much so I got prints of them all!

we just used Denise Kaplan Photography - pics in my album! She was fantastic and is very reasonable!

Can you buy a CD with all images from her? I couldn't see all the session info on my smartphone, but it looked like only 5 digital files are included. Also, how long did it take to get your full gallery?
