1st day back at work
Work was GREAT! I didnt worry about the kids once, and actually cant really say I missed them too much. I mean, I did, but it was no where near as bad as I thought it would be.
I pretty much got right back into the swing of things. I left all my work almost done for when I was gone and the other stuff I need to catch up on, but its nothing that needs to be done immediately.
We have about 450 employees where I work, and about (literally) 60 of them came into the office to see my pics and stuff, and my boss could care less. So even though I worked my butt off today, I still felt like it was a lazy and relaxed day!
And i got to work on time - I actually got to my grandmother's about a half hour early, so I went over everything with her again, had a cup of coffee and got to work just on time. I DID pump in the bathroom, at 10:30 and then at about 2:45, but the second time, I kinda cut it short and didnt empty both sides completely. BUT to make up for it, I pumped as soon as I got home at 5:15....it sucked standing and pumping in the bathroom, but I dont really care. It only takes about 10 minutes.
The only bad part of the day was when Genevieve got sick AGAIN in the car on the way. I dont know if you remember me posting this, but when I took them to visit my job a few weeks ago, she vomited all over herself and the car. We thought she had a virus, but an hour later she was her usual self, and ate fine. Well THANK GOD I didnt give her a bottle this morning, because when we were 10 minutes away, she started dry heaving and gagging. Nothing came up, but driving and worrying about your kid puking is NOT FUN! I think she is starting to develop car sickness, which really sucks, b/c we like to take road trips and usually do the 18 hour drive down to Florida once a year, rather than spend money on flights. She did not get sick on the way home. She normally goes to my m-i-l's, who is only 15 minutes away, and only has to do the hour ride once a week with me. Let's hope this does not happen again!!!!!

Saw your posts about your concerns of going back to work--was thinking of you and glad to hear it went well.
And hope DD doeant get carsick---that stinks as an adult or kid!!
