1ST Dr. app't
Well, actually it is my 2nd, but the first one was just to talk and get a "real" pregnancy test done.
Should I expect an internal sono at the first visit - I should be 8 weeks, they will no better that app't.

I had an external first sono, and an internal exam my 1st "real" appt. I think it depends on the dr.
ETA: Congrats again! You will get see a pic of your little one!

I had a transvag sono at my first appt...I was 6 1/2 weeks.

My first visit was friday, I was 6w6d, they did an internal sono and we got to see AND hear the heartbeat, it was awesome! enjoy you are going to love it!

The first appt, they did the blood work and put me on pre-natals.
The first REAL appt, they did an internal exam and an internal sono.

I would think at 8 weeks you would be getting an internal sono. Good Luck!

I just went to my Dr. today to confirm that I was indeed PG and she told me that my 1st sono will definitely be internal.
