1st haircut - how do you choose a salon?

So DD really needs a haircut. She will be 2 next month and we have not cure her hair yet. Trimmed a few pieces, but has never gone and got a full haircut. Now, knowing that she will absolutely hate it and she will probably scream and flail around...would you choose a place that specialized in kiddie cuts or just go to a regular salon that advertises that they do kiddie cuts??

For DS I took him to DH's Barber. He did a great job. We have movies on DH's phone that kept him occupied and he sat on DH's lap
Now I take him to a salon. I took him to a kids place once and the woman had no patience for DS and did a bad job
I personally like salons. They're more profesional and if they know what they're doing then they can deal with a toddler that moves around a lot

For their first haircut I took them to a kiddie place because I wanted the certificate and all that. Going forward, I will have DH take them to his barber. If I had a DD I'd take her to a regular (cheap) salon.
