1st time baby food feeding
so the dr says i can start him on cereal/oatmeal. he says 2 teaspoon with formula but when i tried it- he didn't seem to drink his bottle. i eve cut the nipple a little so he can suck it better. also should i put it in a small bottle ten do his regular feding. the box says 2 teaspoon & 4-5 teaspoons of formula but that doesn't equal to what he's use to drinking?

I dont understand. Are you trying it with a spoon or are you having it in his bottle?

The box is giving directions for spoon feeding cereal. Not bottle.
If your starting baby on solids, you start with cereal so that they can practice opening their mouths around a spoon, chewing or moving the food around and swallowing.
If dr. said give it in a bottle, you can do about 1 tsp per 6 oz. Its what we did, and we used a variable flow nipple or just a fast nipple.
