I'm posting this for friends They are having an open house on Sunday, 1 -3 pm...It's a great building - I know b/c I live there & just bought a bigger apt. in the same bldg.
Any questions FM - it's a 2 min. walk to the train, shopping & more...near the parks, Bruce's, etc. http://mlsli.com/uniDetails.CFM?MLNum=1993280&typeprop=1&start=1&rpp=20

Yup - I know it sounds insane but Apts. on this side of town are pricier than ones on the otherside of the train.
I'd say the average price of an apt. around here for that size is $500K

OMG, that's so expensive, even with comps & location, I would never pay that for a Co-Op, not even a condo.
You could live in Lynbrook in a house just as close to the LIRR for that price...

Re: 2 Bedroom 2 Bath Co-op in Great Neck
No, the price is comparable to other buildings in that part of town. We just sold our Great Neck apartment (on the other side of the tracks ) for less than half that price, but when I was looking at what 2 bedrooms went for in Great Neck, there were some very pricey ones in the downtown area. Crazy, I agree, our house didn't cost much more than this.
One thing I would suggest to your friend is to take clearer photos and to clear away some of the baby's toys, at least for open houses. There are a lot of apartments around there, so she will have competition selling.

Totally location - I did notice that the pics were not clear after I posted it here but I will tell them later. Plus, they should put a pic of the other bathroom b/c it's in the bedroom.
It really is a lovely apt. and the pics don't do it justice - I'll tell them later.

I know Great Neck very well and that definitely is the right price. 3 minute walk to the train station, etc.

Re: 2 Bedroom 2 Bath Co-op in Great Neck
I know GN is pricey but i had no idea that a 2bed co-op could get in the 5s! Wow. I looked (and bought) houses that were more than 100K cheaper. But, I do know how awesome that train line is - i'm jealous.
