2 hours of CIO already
Ok, so we're going on 2 hours now. My DS will go to sleep for 10 minutes, then wake up screaming again. I'm not giving in, but he's so stubborn. I know everyone says it gets easier. I sure hope so!!!
I know he's ok cause his cry is ranges from shriek to whining wimpers.
Sorry, venting from an exhausted mommy who has to get ready for work soon!!!!

 My son was stubborn like that too. Now, he still cries, but only for a minute max. It gets better but tears your heart out!

CIO doesn't work for every child. Did he cry for 2 hours straight? Was it your first night? I know my DD, although she was over a year when we tried CIO, cried on and off for over 3 hours and it never got better. CIO doesn't work with her.

 It worked for us. The shrieking going to whining is usually a good thing, it means he is self-soothing.
I hope tonight goes better!
