2 month shots today-SO painful to watch

DD had her 2 month shots today. She was SUCH a good girl but it was SO painful to watch and then see her whole face turn red as she screamed from the pain. I nursed her immediately after and it seemed to soothe her but I wish I didn't have to see it.

Part of me knows this sounds horrible but I want DH to take her for the next ones in two monthsChat Icon

I felt the same way when Nikolas got his first set of shots.. he only cried for a short while and handled the shots rather well.. but me, I was hysterical Chat Icon It was downright embarrassing how I carried on at the pediatricians office (even though the ped and the nurse both reassured me that 'most of the mom's get more upset than the babies do' Chat Icon)

It's so hard to watch them cry like that , I know Chat Icon Chat Icon

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon totally normal...I was a complete mess when my DD got her 2 months shots....I cried ALL day and also told my DH that he was going to have to come with me for the others which he did but believe me when I say it does get a little easier as they get bigger and it doesnt seem to hurt so much but I will never forget the 2mth shotsChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

hope your little one is okay, the injection spot will be a little sore for the next 48 hours so she may wake up crying...lots of hugs and kisses will make her feel betterChat Icon

Oh boy, this is the post I dreaded seeing the most.
Taylor goes for her 2 month shots in about 2-3 weeks.
I am definitely making DH come with me, I know I will be such a messChat Icon

It is so painful to see your baby in any kind of pain or discomfort.

I was lucky that Hannah handled it extremely well. My heart did break though. It was after when she didn't feel good that I felt even worseChat Icon , but it's all for a good cause!

I know how you feel. My DD screamed in a way I had never heard come out of her. I had to look away because I was starting to cry and that wouldn't help her.
