2 month shots today-SO painful to watch
DD had her 2 month shots today. She was SUCH a good girl but it was SO painful to watch and then see her whole face turn red as she screamed from the pain. I nursed her immediately after and it seemed to soothe her but I wish I didn't have to see it.
Part of me knows this sounds horrible but I want DH to take her for the next ones in two months

I felt the same way when Nikolas got his first set of shots.. he only cried for a short while and handled the shots rather well.. but me, I was hysterical It was downright embarrassing how I carried on at the pediatricians office (even though the ped and the nurse both reassured me that 'most of the mom's get more upset than the babies do' )
It's so hard to watch them cry like that , I know

Re: 2 month shots today-SO painful to watch
totally normal...I was a complete mess when my DD got her 2 months shots....I cried ALL day and also told my DH that he was going to have to come with me for the others which he did but believe me when I say it does get a little easier as they get bigger and it doesnt seem to hurt so much but I will never forget the 2mth shots
hope your little one is okay, the injection spot will be a little sore for the next 48 hours so she may wake up crying...lots of hugs and kisses will make her feel better

Oh boy, this is the post I dreaded seeing the most. Taylor goes for her 2 month shots in about 2-3 weeks. I am definitely making DH come with me, I know I will be such a mess

It is so painful to see your baby in any kind of pain or discomfort.
I was lucky that Hannah handled it extremely well. My heart did break though. It was after when she didn't feel good that I felt even worse , but it's all for a good cause!

I know how you feel. My DD screamed in a way I had never heard come out of her. I had to look away because I was starting to cry and that wouldn't help her.
