Wow today is my first day of maternity and I'm being induced next week. Hopefully the baby will come sooner. The kicker is I've been off all summer for teacher vaca and only went back for 4 days last week and it killed me. HOW ARE YOU LADIES DOING IT??? One thing I couldn't deal with was the lack of AC in my classroom. It was really difficult. But now I feel like a lazy bum.

I am in a similar situation. I was off all summer from teaching and I went back last week. This Wednesday is my last day. The schools are so hot that it is ridiculous. I was so tired last week and today. It feels like I didn't even have a summer vacation. I also don't know how the rest of you ladies worked all through the summer. I hope you are all staying cool. Hopefully one day the NYC Board of Ed will move out of the dark ages and decide to install air conditioning in all classrooms. It should be illegal to allow pregnant women to teach or work in rooms that are not air conditioned.
