2 weeks pp and i went to the gym...
I can't stand looking at myself anymore i feel so icky, i have strech marks all of a sudden did not have them with preggo, but now i do, and i had a c-section which i know i should not of went but i had to, i did not do anything bad i just walked on the tredmill for 20 mintues, then did the glider thing for 10 min. and that was it, DH was all over but kept coming over to check on me to make sure i was ok, which i feel fine, but scared that I might hurt myself, but walking is not bad so it guess it is ok...... I mean not working my belly or arms or anything just walking bc this weight is REALLY getting to me, and i know it is just time before it will come off, but I HATE IT!!
ok vent over sorry i just feel sooooooooo about myself and dh is so sweet saying is just time and it will come off but he will never understand......

Agreed! Don't do too much with your body right now especially after a c-section. Take it easy. It will come off and you'll feel better about yourself!

Give yourself a break....it took 9 months to put on the weight so it'll take a long while to get the weight off. Please don't overdo it and hurt yourself. Can you imagine being out of commission b/c you wanted to workout? The walking is fine but the glider (I assume the elliptical)?! Yikes! Take it easy!

I know it's stressful, but the weight WILL come off. I didn't have a c-section so I can't comment on that, but I did go back to work as a dance teacher 3 weeks after a vaginal delivery.

Just be careful!! Your incision is still healing and though you may feel OK your body may not be ready.
If you stretch the incision too much you will end up w/ a lot of painful scar tissue.
I think walking on the treadmill is ok, just be careful on the glider, it may be too much strecthing.

Be careful! I started working out 6 weeks post-partum and I popped one of my stitches because it was too soon. If you want exercise, take nice, long, leisurely walks with baby. Don't do anything that will put a strain on your body because TRUST ME, it's disgusting to pop a stitch!
