2 year old & Sharing - Father's ideals
I think my ex is being unreasonable with his expectations for our 2 year old. (turned 2 not even 3 weeks ago)
He said, "he is plenty old enough and does know better, just sometimes is being bratty" when it comes to his sharing.
Can you please let me know how your kids were at 2 so I can show him?
Our son will give you 1 lego if he has a stack. I ask for more and maybe I'll get one. He is in daycare and all of his teachers love him. I've never had a complaint about sharing or any behavior.

That is normal toddler behavior. They mostly parallel play at his age. Here is an article you can send to him. linky

Re: 2 year old & Sharing - Father's ideals
Sorry I don't, our kid is pretty good with this. He doesn't like to share most of the time though, and this is very normal for his age--he just doesn't get it yet. If I tell him to share something, or give one of his cars to a friend who is playing with him, he will do it (and usually picks his least favorite car). And that's the best I can expect--he's not going to share on his own at this point.
I would just show him the articles and tell him no 2 year olds understand the concept yet.
