2 year old spitting/drooling, help
My 2 year old recently has taken to spitting out her milk/water and/or letting saliva drop from her lips & onto floor (putting head down). I THINK its due to little Jack (5 months) drooling. YET its become a big deal b/c she's doing it all the time. We give her warnings & she's had time outs for it & we compliment her when she drinks like a big girl. Is there anything else we can do??
She also knows its wrong & yet thinks its funny.

My son just started doing this! He drinks his water and keeps it in his mouth puffing up his cheeks and lets it run down his mouth...I hope its just a phase...

my daughter did the same thing..and she knew it bothered me..
IGNORE IT! thats what worked for me. i know its hard..but they seem to want to get a rise out of the negative.

I'd ignore it. SHe's trying to get attention.
Remember a few months ago when Michael was swearing like a trucker (no offense!), we ignored it and it went away in about 2 weeks.

DD was doing that a few weeks ago. The first time I told her to stop - and she then proceeded to do it with the remainder of liquid in her cup. The next time she did it, I ignored her. She did it maybe two-three times after that and then stopped.
