2 year olds and talking

DD turned 2 in August.

For the most part, I thought she communicated pretty well for beng 2. Most of the time I know what she wants, even if the word isn't correct.

I was talking to another mom I know and her son has to go for speech and stuff through the school district because his speech isn't up to par.

As we talked further, I realized that how she described her son, is how my daughter is.

So, how do I know if her speech is fine? Do I bring it to the attention of a doctor?

You can call EI and get an eval. done. Is her son older than your daughter?

Her son just turned 3 so he is slightly older, however he started getting evaluated at 2.

How many words does she have??

How is her receptive language????

Is she beginning to put 2-3 words together???

She has a decent amount of words however they aren't clear cut words. Like milk is nilk and cookie is coocoo

She says a few 2 or 3 word phraases but not too many
