2-year-olds and up: shower or bath?
What are they doing now?
DD is 26 months and still taking baths. I wish she's shower since I hate scrubbing the tub so darn often!! But as it is, she hates when we rinse her hair with the sprayer so she says she has no interest in the shower yet.
And if they shower, is it with a parent or alone?
Just curious.
To clarify: by "alone" I mean you're not IN the shower with them but are there with the shampoo, etc right by them. Totally not saying you're not even in the room with them.

Re: 2-year-olds and up: shower or bath?
Kaitee is 3 and she does both. Most of the time she still takes baths because I bathe her and Brooke at the same time and Brooke(23 months old) isn't a fan of the shower yet. Kaitee would flip if Brooke got a bath and she didn't

Bath- alone,...but I have started to run the shower at times. Bath time is play time for her...so I kind of just let her go with it.
Shower- with me. Ususally in and out!

Re: 2-year-olds and up: shower or bath?
We do a little of everything
Mostly it's still baths, but we'll shower with her a lot as well. Sometimes she wants a shower, so she'll be in there alone and of course we'll be right there to soap her up etc.
She's never "alone" in either the bath or shower.

Since the summer I've been doing strictly shower. If by "alone" you mean she's physically in the shower by herself, then yes. Of course, I'm on a kneeler right outside the tub actually washing her.

depends on the day - he may end up in the bath, in the kitchen sink or in the shower with the handheld shower. The handheld makes it so much easier to rinse his hair.

Started showers (by himself) around 2 1/2. By 3, its been solely showers. His choice
I like to clean the bathroom while DS is singing in the shower.

Good point, I should clarify what I meant by "alone" I mean standing outside the shower with the shampoo, etc...not sending her in there by herself. That did sound like that's what I meant!

DD still takes baths alone. The shower makes her nervous.
We just hooked up one of those shower heads we can take off the pole. I thought it would make it easier to rinse her. That would be a no go.

Shower alone in the stall. Our upstairs bath has a separate shower, so they take a shower by themselves. It's much faster that trying to give them a bath.

Re: 2-year-olds and up: shower or bath?
Ella is 3, and still takes baths. She doesn't like showers because the water gets in her eyes , so the only ones she's taken have been with me.
Baths work better for me anyway though, since I always throw them both in there together.
