2 years ago today
we were in China meeting our baby girl Diana for the first time. I remember all the anticipation, crying, smiles, and hugs. It truly was the best day of my life. I could never imagine not having this little angel as my daughter. She truly is the light of our lives. She makes evey day more meaningful and more fulfilling than I could ever have imagined. She is a total little me, (drives the DH nuts, just another one of the perks..lol). We are so lucky and so blessed to have this precious littel princess in our lives.
I will never forget her first smile for us, her first kisses, the first time she said mama (and the first time she said Jeter..lol), the first time she put her arms up to be picked up by me, and the first time she looked for me to hold and hug her when she was upset or hurt, which all started before we left China. I could have never imagined the kind of love that a mother has for her child could be this powerful, this special and this beautiful.
A quick update - Diana is now 3 1/2 years old. She is 41 inches (when we got home from China she was 23"). She has grown up so much. She is in nursery school and she loves it. She loves to learn and try new things and playing with the other kids. She has been doing peeps on the potty for a few months, and just last week started poops, and so far so good, no accidents. She is so proud to be wearing her big girl underwear. She is very into all the princesses and she has a great love for animals. She is really very sweet, has a great sense of humor, and is ver sensitive. Now don't get me wrong, she is truly a 3 year old and all the comes with that too, we have our moments, but I can honestly say they are few and far between _________________

Aaw, this brought tears to my eyes! Time flies so quickly, dosn't it? In just three months, it'll be a year that my little man has joined our family and it feels like just yesterday. Congrats!
