2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland
Anyone have one? DH and I are thinking of getting it within the next week or so. How is it on gas? Anyone mind sharing what their monthly payment is a month (lease)?

DH nixed this from our list of potential cars. For a lot less we plan to get a 2013 Dodge Durango. I have heard it's a gas guzzler and the one we saw at the dealership was $45k.

DH just got the Altitude about a month ago. We lease and the payment is ~$450/month for 39 months, 15K miles. He loves it so far. Mileage per gallon isn't great, close to the average they claim of 16 miles/gal.

2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland
We have a 2013 Grand Cherokee Limited Edition and pay $500/month for our 3 year lease.
We looked at the Overland and it would have put us in the $600 range for payments.
It gets decent mileage - better highway miles. We don't drive a lot (I commute with public transportation & DH has a company truck), so we use it on the weekends mostly. I fill up every 2 weeks.

Re: 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland
I lease a jeep grand Cherokee 2011. My lease is up in a few months. It's not a limited. But I have leather, back up camera, GPS, touch screen, blue tooth, moon roof and I pay $460 a month.
I went recently to see if I could trade in and they wanted $3500 down and $480 a month. They said it would be cheaper if they wouldn't have to absorb my final 6 payments.
And FYI 2014 the jeep style inside and out is changing. Supposedly the new ones will be out in a month.
HTH!

Thanks so much! The 2014's are actually out now! We priced both out to see the difference. They gave us what I think is a really great price for a 13 overland - $415/month. The quote for the 14 overland was $550+/month. We are leaning towards the 13 because it's so much less.

Did they want any money down besides the typical 1st payment, tire fees and whatnot?
I never put money down and roll everything into my monthly payments. $415 is pretty good. I am def looking to lower my payments even just a bit.
And wanted to add I drive about 1,000 miles a month and fill up 1x a week at about $80-$100 depending on gas prices.

Re: 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland
The total down was about $3500. I believe that was basically first month, taxes & fees. I should mention that quote was based on 10k miles/year. We figure that is fine since we only drive to the train station and have a second car.
You should def be able to get a lower payment if you get a 13, especially within the next few months. There are tons of rebates and deals since the 14's came out.
We are hoping get our new truck within the next week or two, so I'll keep you posted.
