i missed my 2014 goal by 3 booksChat Icon

so for 2015, I'm trying to be more realistic and am going to say 40 books. I'd like 15 of those to be classics/biographies/non-fiction books.

right now I am reading:

1. Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
2. The Vicars of Christ: A History of the Popes by Charles A Coulombe
3. Captain's Fury by Jim Butcher
4. The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas

Re: 2015 Yearly Goal! Post your books here!

I've never done the yearly goal, but always enjoyed reading the reviews, so here goes...

My family (DH, and three DC (9, 7, 4)) and I started a "100 book challenge" for 2015. I don't think it's possible, but he does so I'll periodically apprise you of our progress.

As for me, as I said, I don't do goals but I will throw the number 15 out there. So far...

1. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon (so awesome I had to start its own thread!)
2. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling
3. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
4. Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon
5. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling
6. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling
7. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling (FINALLY read the series after all these years!)
8. Beach Music by Pat Conroy
9. Room by Emma Donahue
10. The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver
11. A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers
12. Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell
