23 weeks - pain near ribs?

Last night and this morning, I felt a lot of discomfort near my left rib. Could this just be the baby? I want to wait to see if it goes away in a few hours before I call the dr - curious if anyone else has had this.

Well I'm 10 weeks ahead of you and I get pains in my ribs from the baby. It might just be things stretching. Did you call your doc?

i had pain in my ribs with ds and it actually turned out to be gall bladder issues... add the constant kick in the ribs and forget it

I'm at 25 weeks and the past week or so have felt intermittent pain near ribs and lower, I think its just baby.If it gets really bad, I'll call the doc.

Thanks ladies. I called the dr because I have also been vomiting the last few morning again (I thought morning sickness was behind me ). My dr said that if the rib pain was only on my right side, he would be concerned about potential gall bladder issues but it sounds like stretching. He wants me to monitor the pain/vomiting for 48 hours then call him back or call him back if it gets worse.
