Just wanted to ask for some hugs- updated
Hi ladies-
I just wanted to ask for some hugs- all of you are so loving and supportive of other moms and I am at an all time low.
DH and I were blessed with our second child, Caitlin, on Thursday. We are so lucky that she is beautiful and healthy.
My PPD came back so severe, I cannot stop crying, shaking, cannot eat and cannot sleep. Unlike her brother, she had latched on like a champ and breastfeeding was going so well- but I am going to stop- it is too much and I am so overwhelmed and need to take ambien and effexor.
I am SO lucky to have my mom and DH. But, I have to get it together quickly. DS is only 16 months old- I think these pregnancies were too close together- two c-sections is a lot too.
Anyway, just wanted to ask for some hugs- I have never felt so low and scared in my life.

I just wanted to write and say that I am so overwhelmed and touched and grateful by all of you. It is SO helpful to hear how other people went through this and just to get hugs and FMs. Yesterday DH and I took Caitlin to the ped and it was sunny and that was so nice. Today I will try and make it to the park. The ambien is helping at night- when it is the worst for me.
I can't believe how generous and thoughtful everyone is, bringing meals to our home. I still can't believe it. DH is beyone amazed too. I am SO grateful and I can't wait to pay this forward to other mommies. My mom and DH are here for another week or so- I am very lucky to have so much support.

I'm sorry you are feeling this way. I think it is very normal and I'm glad that you have reached out and shared your feelings with us. I think that time really will make you feel better...you JUST gave birth a few days ago....so know that you WILL feel better SOON. Hugs to you and please don't hesitate to talk to us whenever you are feeling down!!!
