An Idea to help all boards
We always see posts that start out: "I know this belongs on (insert board other then NFR here) but this board sees more traffic"
The thing is, by doing this, we are further perpetuating the failure and the lag of these other boards. I would like to propose a new idea! To get these other boards up and running and have us check them a little more frequently how about we put the original post on the appropriate board but then we can also post a "repost" on the NFR board with a brief synopsis and then include a link so that the conversation can happen in the appropriate place?
Just an idea, flame me if you must.

I agree with you. I don't even think the brief synopsis is necessary, just a cross post with a link to the original post on the appropriate board. I think that a synopsis would encourage replies on this board instead of on the appropriate board.
Something as simple as - "XP: Can you please read my thread on the Pets board?" with a link inside would work well, I think.
