2nd appointment tomorrow....
Do you think they'll be able to hear the heartbeat, and if so will they be able to tell me how many BPM's?

You should be able to hear the heartbeat (on a doppler) at 10 weeks. Yes, they should be able to tell you the BPM but it will be high regardless because the babies heartrate is the keeps going up till the 12th week when it begins to slow to what it will be for the majority of the rest of the pregnancy.
