2nd beta and lovenox question
Sooooo my 2nd beta at 4wks 1day is 274!!! I'm very happy but cautious. I've been disappointed twice before so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
My question is has anyone found a solution to not bruise with lovenox? I use to take it in my sides (love handles) and I thought the bruising was too much. Now I've been taking it in my abdomen and I was fine for the 1st wk and now I'm bruising again no matter how much pressure I apply. It doesn't hurt it just looks very ugly. Any advice?

Not sure about the lovenox - just wanted to congratulate on the beta!

I can't help you with the bruising, when I took it I bruised all the time and I tried lots of different things.
Try icing the area first, it worked alittle with me, the bruises weren't as large or as dark.

Re: 2nd beta and lovenox question
I had a lot of bruising when I first started it too, once I got a bruise so bad it was huge and almost black - I got so scared I called the hematologist in a panic. They said I probably did the shot over another one that had a bruise so it was like a bruise on top of a bruise. I find doing them in my belly gives the least amount of bruising. I do it in bed usually in a sitting position - I grab an area with a good amount of fat and inject. Then hold the skin pinched for about a minute while applying pressure. Don't rub it! Afterwards, try not to move around for 15 minutes or so. This is the technique I have been doing and I haven't had a bruise in about 6 weeks or so! Also make sure you are switching sides - don't do the same side two days in a row.

I always got bruising no matter where I inject. Now I inject in my thighs. And still get bruising
