2nd Bloodwork for progesterone

Hello again -so I had my bloodwork done on monday (BFP on sunday) and all day yesterday i was glued to my cell phone waiting for a call back. I passed out at 8:30pm..big surprise these days =) and the dr call and talked to my hubby @ 9:30..he did not give numbers just said he wanted me to come in today for more bloodwork so they could see if the numbers increased etc. I am not sure if he did not give more info because it was not me but after waiting to here something all day I feel so frustrated. I am going to go in first thing this am so hopefully i will be able to speak to him then..I just feel like if my levels are low don't i need to be on progesterone asap?? I am really trying not to be anxious but after going through miscarriages i am afarid it is hard not to be.. just want to do everything i possibly can to avoid that again..anyway...thanks for letting me vent!

Don't worry too much. It is common to have low numbers and they want you to come back.

So i talked with the dr. He said my progesterone was a 6 which is really low but he said since i had the blood work done so early he wants to see what my results from todays bloodwork is before he does anything. He said if I am below 15 than he will put me on supplements.

Please send progesterone increasing dust if it exists =)

I just went throught this also...when I went in for my first appt my progesterone was 7. They prescribed the suppositories and checked again after two days. At that point there was still no increase.

Now I am 9 weeks and the baby is growing normally so the doc said as lond as the baby continues to grow the levels are of no concern now.

However they did say that they are in the normal range now.

The Beta numbers really do not mean too much until they are compared to see if they are doubling. The range is a riduculous number like 14 - 480 or something for 15 DPO (don't quote me I am not sure of that but I remember it being a huge difference.)
