2nd day as a SAHM and I am officially
bored... I know the baby isnt here yet so its not like I am busy.
I nested my butt off yesterday   and today I am washing all the baby clothes but I was desperate enough to go to the library and got 2 books on "how to crochet" 
But dont get me wrong... this sure beats working!

the end was the hardest for me as well, I did everything at home and I ran out of things to do... plus I was so uncomfortable... I kept watching baby story and bringing home baby and couldnt wait for our little guy

I agree...definitely enjoy the quiet time. I stopped working about 2 months before DS was born and I was so bored...now DS is 1.5 weeks old and I spend every free second I have catching up on my  . I'm only able to check my email now bc my mom is over taking care of the baby!!!

I was home from 36 weeks until DS was born at 39 weeks. I used to do stuff in the morning, then watch SoapNet all afternoon One Tree Hill, The OC and Beverly Hills 90210 are all on in the afternoons

i hear ya, being a SAHM and waiting for the baby is sooo boring.. I dont know what to do with myself anymore.. i have been off all summer...
at least babies due date is sunday

Enjoy EVERY SECOND...... because in a few weeks you will be sleep deprived and at the whim the baby.... all truly amazing, but exhausting physically and emotionally...
And, I have to add I am VERY jealous...... I cannot stay home for at least a year and I am pining to stay home with my dd now.....
I have to go back to work in 3.5 weeks and am dreading it!!!!
Good Luck and Im sure you will not be bored in a few weeks!!!

OMG, I so envy you right now. I'm counting down the days until Sept. 15 when I will be at home and Roman will be in daycare for the remainder of the month.

Aw, I'm jealous too!! Next week is my last week so I'll be there soon enough. I've been crocheting myself so I plan on finishing the blanket I'm making while I'm home the 1st or 2nd week of Sept.
Hang in there and enjoy it the peace and quiet while it lasts!!

It's hard to imagine but yes, like other moms will tell you, once DC is here... you will learn the concept of sleep deprivation. Especially if you BF. I had no idea what I was in for.
But again, it does get easier after a few months (yes... I said months!).
