Re: Can it get any worse........
This happened to a friend recently and it turned out to be fatty tissue. I know how hard it must be to get that but really try and stay calm. They probably just need to doa sonogram or something.

Re: Can it get any worse........
Thanks.
Maybe, I will do an ultra sound and mammo. My friend's cancer was picked up on an ultra sound not on a mammogram. I am so stressed out!
ETA: I am wondering if my small boobs are factor in why they want new images.

Re: Can it get any worse........
Juju this has happened to me in the past and all it meant was that they did not get a good enough image -- either I moved, breathed, or wasn't positioned correctly.
So I am thinking that is exactly the same reason they sent this to you. Let us know and good luck!!
(My friend compares a mammo to having an industrial-sized stainless fridge slammed on your boob -- ouch! Must have been invented by a man )

OH no...that must have made you crazy!
Hang in there! Its always this way in life...One shoe falls and the next falls soon after!
Keep us up to date with what that means ...and what is to come...
I have heard it sometimes just means they couldnt get a clear image on the mammo and is no real reason to worry!

Donna it is so funny you said that cuz I keep saying I am waiting for shoes to come out of the sky and no one understands me.... (I say this since my new RE says my insurance covers us, and that I have all the meds I need, and whatever else has gone RIGHT lately...)

I agree 100%. It was probably just a goof in the way the images were taken. I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry.
I'm going through a similar thing with my Dad and his carodit artery scan (and he had a massive stroke in 1998). Got the word last Friday that his test was showing a 50-70% blockage up from less than 25% a year a go Needless to say, I didn't need this when we are on our last round of IUI. Well, three years ago A DOCTOR (not a tech) screwed up the same annual test and when they redid it all was fine.... less than 25% blockage. Well, for the five days in between I was completely MENTAL Seriously, my father was very close to death the first time and my life flashed before my eyes... oh my God, what if he has another, nursing home?, selling the house?, where would I live?... oh, my world was crashing down. I had just met DH a month before that and God bless him for putting up with me. When I found they just screwed up, DH took me out later in the week and I got sooooo drunk...lol... I really needed to. I think I gave him a sexy dance at the bar...LOL.
Moral of that story is... they screw up tests more than you realize. I've learned not to listen to a bad result until I get confirmation from at least two sources. It's not worth freaking out about before then... and this is from someone who tends to worry. As much as those in the medical field know, they don't know.

I hah this happen too, DONT worry. She told me because i was still young that you have a lot of fatty tissue in your breasts. I had to go and have a sono done of them. You will be fine
Or Like Kara said, they didnt get a good enough pic. I had to go in ywice. Onec because I guess I moved and they had to take a pic, and then to have a sono done.

Re: Can it get any worse........
Thanks Girls! I feel much better now. And I have read that women with smaller breasts have very dense breasts. I thought it would be the other way around. I have lumpy breasts to begin with and I would hope that if there was a lump, that I would be able to detect it.
Teresa, Ill be praying for you Dad. I am sorry you have to go through this right now.

Judy, ....I am sorry you have to go through the testing again but it sounds like it's just something that commonly happens.
Theresa, your dad is in my prayers, as well as an upcoming bfp !!!!
