Re: 2nd stage foods?

I'm not sure... We are still doing Stage 1 fruits and veggies and DS is 6 months, although his 6 month appointment isn't until November 2.

Re: 2nd stage foods?

You could start them now. They are only slightly thicker than stage 1, mostly the change is in the amount of food.

Re: 2nd stage foods?

We started stage 2's when she started on meat - there was no way I was giving her straight meat out of a jar, so we bought the stage 2 combos.

I started once she went through all stage 1's and seemed like she wanted more to eat. I'd say around 5 months (we started food at 4 months). Stage 2 fruit and veggies are the same as stage 1's, just more in quantity and variety.

I started the meat veggie combos around 6 months.

Re: 2nd stage foods?

We started Stage 2 fruits and veggies when she finished all of her stage 1. Stage 2 is not really any thicker than Stage 1, its just more of an amount in the container.
We just started giving my DD meats today. We gave her turkey, she seems to like it. (Suprisingly, it stinks)

She will be 6 months in less than 1 week.
