2nd Trimester... Honeymoon Period???

In all of my books the 2nd trimester is supposed to be the "honeymoon" period of the pregnancy, where you feel good
????

Well, Im 19 weeks and I feel achy all over, I have trouble sleeping at night, my back hurts and this morning I had a bloody nose in the shower........and Im still nauseaus periodically....

If this is honeymoon... Im REALLY scared about the 3rd trimester........

I did not just wake up one morning & feel great, but I do feel less tired & less crabby then the 1st tri.
It is different for everyone though

I never felt better

It was funny, I am kind of small for how pregnant I really am and when I was about 25 weeks I was puking getting off the bus and a lady asked me if I was ok, and I said, yes, I am just pregnant. She goes "Oh, it will be better in the second trimester"

I am about to enter the 3rd and I just came to the conclusion that pregnancy and I are not best friends and Ijust need to wrap up the last couple of weeks.

I did not feel as exhausted and nauseous but other stuff came up so no real honeymoon for me.

I felt better - not as tired. But I did start to have some pain in my nether regions. And bloody noses too but they don't hurt. Use a humidifier in your room when you sleep.

Oh and since we refrained from s e x during the 1st tri, the 2nd WAS sort of honeymoon-like!!!!!!!!

Everyone is different, so don't hold yourself or your pregnancy to any standards. You may not feel great every day, so do your best to really enjoy the days where ou do feel good.

I thinkthe honeymoon is relative to the rest of the pregnancy, not as in you should feel like your old self. The 1st trimester is just so dramatic with the hormones, lethargy, sometimes MS (or extreme MS), the bloating, on and on. The third just looks uncomfortable and a lot of problems can occur for mammas. So far in the second I do feel pretty good but I have days with no energy and lots of back pain.

I definitely have twice as much energy now (23 weeks) than I did in my first trimester. I seriously was exhausted for those weeks, and nauseous (although, I was lucky enough to have no morning sickness). It has been great this trimester, I'm trying to get lots of projects done around the house!

I do feel better but I wouldnt say that I feel great... I dont throw up every morning which is an improvement although when some things dont agree with me I still puke... I have more energy during the day although at the end of the day I am just beat... oh and my lower back and hips are killing me!
