2WW symptom vent
Sorry to do this here, but DH just doesn't get it... he's beyond supportive and sweet, but has no clue how to relate to this unique experience...
I am only one day post transfer and am finally remembering why is sucked so much last time!! My belly feels so full... between the ovaries and the incredible constipation (TMI... stupid PIO and antibiotics) I think I'm going to pop. And my back is so sore from being in bed for so long... 2 retrievals (one of which caused a nervous breakdown) + 1 transfer = lots of dr prescribed rest. And don't even get me started on the reflux/indigestion/constant burping.
Luckily, Dr B said Milk of Magnesia is fine to take, so hopefully some of the pressure will go away. And, I've convinced DH that I can indeed get up and do things so hopefully my back will work itself out.
And I know: the 1st trimester will be full of lots of "fun" symptoms. But until I get there, I'm just ball of nerves that can't poop!!

Re: 2WW symptom vent
I can totally identify with the lack of pooping! I took me until 5dpt to regain control of my body in that arena..... what he**!
You have been through so much and this website is such a gift. It is an awesome thing to be able to come here and vent or release in a way that you can't do with DH. I guess their ability to understand all of it has a limit since they are not physically going through it themselves.
I hope your body.. ahem.... cooperates sooner than later!!!! I practically did the happy dance when I had my first normal BM!

Man oh man the things we women have to go through
This has always been a problem for me so between the meds and the transfer I can't even imagine how uncomfortable you must truly be.
I hope it gets better for you soon! Hang in there!

OK, I think the poop thing is just being scared you are going do something to make the cycle not work. So, just relax, though you've had more surgery than most of us at this point. Take fiber!!!!

Re: 2WW symptom vent
Thanks for the support!! I've been sleeping like a baby... 11-12 hours at night and 2-3 hours of napping during the day. I literally cannot stay awake!! I got back to work tomorrow, so I need to figure out how to stay awake...
Oh- and Milk of Magnesia tastes gross, but is effective :) Feeling less "full", which is a gift. Still have a ways to go!!
