3 best days to BD

If you had to choose the 3 best days to BD, what would you say they were?

I'm trying to figure out what our plan of attack for this month will be. We really can't physically accomplish more then 3 days of BDing at a time.

(These are relative to O, with -2 being 2 days before O, + 1 being one day after O, etc.)

-1, O, +1
-3, -1, +1
-2, O, +1

I know that people always suggest BDing every other day after AF ends but that is not possible for us. Even three days is pushing it! So please help me decide what to do for the coming cycle because I NEED to get pregnant! I can't believe I made the "recent BFP" thread 9 months ago already. I could have practically had a baby already, but I'm still here

I am not sure what to reply as this is only our second month trying. Last month we did O and O+1 but I think this month we need to try before O.

Of course i'm new to this whole thing, but these are the days that I keep reading are the best days and are considered the "fertile window"

The month we got pregnant we BD 2 days before I ovulated, had an IUI in the morning the day I ovulated (could be why I got a BFP but I'll never know) and we also BD 2 more times that day as well, and we also BD the day after I ovulated. I wanted to make sure I really covered all my bases. I recommend BD at least 2-3 days before you ovulate. Those little guys need some time to swim up so they can meet the egg and that can take 2 days so you want to make sure you BD before you ovulate so you don't miss an opportunity. If you plan on BD only 3 times I would say do it 2 days before you ovulate, the day you ovulate, and the day after you ovulate. Lots and lots of luck!!!

I voted for -1, 0, +1. DH and I BD'ed only when the CBEFM showed my Peak days, which I guess would be the day of/before OV and possibly the day after. I felt like a concentrated effort would ensure that the strongest swimmers would be ready to play!! Good luck sweetie!!

i would say as close to O as possible... when i got PG, i O'd on CD13. DH and i BD on CD 10, CD 12, and CD13.

ETA: i got my positive OPK on CD12, and was checking cervical position, that's now i know for sure when i O'd.

I said -2, -1 and O but I think it really depends on what method you are using to determine your O date. If you're using OPK's you can ovulate anywhere from 12 to 48 hours after a positive.

This is what i've done too. More than once that day and then I put 2-3 pillows under my but so my pelvis is in the air and then I cheer "swim swimmy swim! swim swimmy swim!" I think the cheer alone is why my DH dosen't mind trying all those times!

We did on -1, 0, +1, +2 during the month I got my BFP. It was the day before the egg on the CBEFM, the 2 days with the egg, and the day after. I definitely O'd on day 0 because I felt the cramping on one side like I never have before.
