3 year old hating blanket sleepers with feet, norm?

So my DS has always "Grown Up" faster than I'd like sometimes, but now he refuses to wear blanket sleepers (ie fleece one piece zippered feetie PJs). He has a TON in size 2T (his current size), 3T & even some 4T (my MIL went NUTS). He takes them off and complains about them....

Is it a phase? Should I just pack them up in hopes little boy #2 will like them some day? They actually do take up a decent amount of room.

DS likes 2 piece PJS more...and he is just like his mom, he won't even sleep in socks!! LOL

he'll be 3 in January.

Totally normal. I used to cut the bottoms off so their feet were exposed.

I don't use pj's with feet b/c dd always grew out of the feet part first. You could see her toes curled up and stuffed in them

Since you have so many I would just cut them off. I put socks on her at night to keep her feet warm.

JJ is going through that now at 2 but honestly there are nights he will wear them. During the day at home, he loves to walk around with no socks & no slippers. He is definitely my son.

I wouldn't cut the feet off. I have a decent amount of non sleeper style PJs.

I guess I will just pack them all up in hopes baby boy #2 will like them.

We quit using them when they potty trained at 24 months and 27 months so they could easily use the bathroom on their own in the middle of the night. No matter how cold it is my girls have always taken off what ever pj's they wear and sleep in their underwear they started that at 1 &2 years old and still do it most nights at 3 & 4 years old

I noticed last year at 15 months she complained when she had them on. I think they are too warm.

We just use regular pj's now.

Kaydyn doesn't like them either. We tried a few on her last year and she would complain about them so we got a bunch of 2 piece pjs. We put her to bed with socks every night, but most times she takes them off.

My DD is 3, we haven't used feetie pj's with her since she was probably 18m old. She's been wearing 2 piece pj's forever. Make the switch, I can see how feetie pj's might annoy them to death.

AJ stopped around 18mo or so. No WAY I could put that on her now at 3. She'd spend more time ripping it off her and crying than sleeping!

my son won't wear 2 piece fleece pj's that have buttons.

so i guess it goes along the same lines.

DD couldn't wear them after age 2 because 1)her feet were bigger then the feeties and 2)she sweats at nightime. She still at age 5 can't wear socks and likes to stick 1 foot out of the blanket, just like me and my grandma :)

Its funny because my kids are obsessed with socks and love their feetie PJ's! Even when I have 2 piece pj's they want socks. But I think its totally normal.

DS is almost 18m and haaaaaaaaaaaaaaates anything on his feet, feetie pjs are out and so are socks! the only time I can put socks on him is if I put his shoes on immediately after!
