3 year olds in dance..
about how much do you pay?! DH and I talked today about sending DD who is 3 to dance, she keeps talking about it and gymnastics but i think we will try dance. My friend told me she pays $42 a month and does ballet, tap AND jazz...just wanted some feedback how much you pay per month, what your DD takes and how long the class is.

Julia is in her 2nd year of dance, we pay in full but I believe its $48 a month, and she's in tap and ballet. The class is from Sept-June and they have a big recital in June as well.

so tap and ballet is done in the same class? so you dont pay seperate for each?

My DD is 3 and my MIL takes her to dance. She pays (HA! Nice perk to giving birth to the first granddaughter!  ) $11 per class...so $44/month. She takes tap and the classes are 45 minutes long.
Also, there's a big recital in June and we paid something like $70 for the costume (that she'll wear one time, but whatever...grrr...) and then of course, you purchase the recital tickets.

Both my girls have taken dance since they were three (now 8 and 5). Right now we pay 37 for each class. The costumes are around 60 to 75 dollars for the recital. HTH.

DD4's fee is $55.00/month for both Tap and Ballet. They have a big recital in June also. She will perform 2 dances so she has 2 outfit which costs us $130.00: and she will have to do both performances Friday and Saturday. So I guess 2 seperate entrance fee too
