Dear Danielle,Christopher and Family(DaniRella)
Today at work I hurt my back. A customer had noticed it and we began to talk. He then had mentioned how he got hurt. This is the part I FEEL I MUST TELL YOU THIS!
His shield number is 2854 of SCPD. In Aug. of 1990 he was hit by a DWI driver(while on duty) and yes still has pain but IS DOING WONDERFUL!!! He brought a tear to me and asked why I was upset.
I said I was not sad upset
but a happy upset.
He was puzzled and then I told him of how I knew you and HE WAS THRILLED to here how Ken was doing. I said to him you just gave me the hope in knowing that Ken will be just fine when all said and done. We talked some more and he said how he can not wait to tell his "family" meaning the pd how Ken was.
Before he left the office he came back to me and asked me to write a note to you and your family with his shield number in it attached with prayers and hugs. So I am . I hope this gives you the same light I saw today in what WILL come tomorrow for Ken.

wow - janet, that was so touching and really nice of him! thank you for posting that and letting me know. it really is amazing how many people we have met who have had similar injuries like kenneth or similar things happen to them -- and how police really come together for one another b/c they are all on the same team and the support is so appreciated -- and always needed!
