30th Birthday Dinner Party Menu
Im planning my husband's surprise 30th birthday dinner party at Cavo (Queens) and so far this is the menu Im planning to go with...My husband loves Italian food but we always go to to parties that have Italian food or cater it at home. I wanted to do something different for him and this place is pretty nice. If you were a guest do you think you'd enjoy the menu? Tell me what you think of it! Thank you!
On the Table
Pites
Cavo's assortment of traditional Greek spread and dips with grilled fresh pita
Tiganita Thalassina
Chick pea flavored calamari, shrimp, sea scallps, baby octopus, herbs, Shii-take mushrooms and zucchini
Keftedakia
Pan fried Greek meatballs with cheese, herbs and lemon
Souvlakia Ladolemono
Charcoal grilled skewers of pork and chicken w/ homemade "tzatziki"
Salad
Cavo's Horiatiki Salad
Country Greek sala, tomatoes, cucumbers, dives, capers, peppers and feta cheese
Entree
Pasta- hand made fresh spinach and ricotta ravioli w/ tomato sauce
Chicken- herb roasted free range chicken over Greek lemon potatoes w/ fresh spianch
Fish- Charcoal grilled North Atlantic Salmon ladolemono w vegetable pilafi
Steak- Charcoal grilled skirt steak w/ fresh lemon, Greek oregano, and fork mashed potatoes
Dessert
Cavo's homemade TIramisu Cake and Chocolate Cake w/ Tahitian Vanilla Gelato

Cavo's food is pretty darn good.
can you get the crepes for dessert...they are awesome...
yum...now I want a frappe!
maybe we should GTG there next
