31 weeks and very mild cramping

I've had some very very mild cramps since last night - every 30 seconds for 5 seconds each time- feels very localized in very low abdomen just under the baby bump -
they feel extremely mild! but I've had them since last night.

I called the dr and he said to drink a lot of water (5 glasses) and stay off my feet -If it doesn't go away, I have to go to L&D.

Anyone else have this?

Re: 31 weeks and very mild cramping

I am 31 weeks and I started feeling this a few days ago. I didnt call the doctor b/c I assumed it was normal and it was only once or twice a day and not every day. Maybe I should call too.........

Does is feel like period cramps but very slight?

Good luck!

Not even! - more localized than period cramps - Doc said it doesn't sound like anything...

I think as long as its not recurring very often its ok- mine are recurring every 30 seconds or so. but i do feel better now that I've had a lot of water.

Glad you are feeling better!

Are you sleeping ok at 31 weeks? I have had back issues since Jan but now my new thing is waking up very stiff all over and with a tight back. I just ordered a maternity pillow!

Thanks!

Sleep - depends on what you consider OK - I wake up every 90 minutes or so to change position or go to the bathroom- I do wake up stiff and use about 5 pillows - including one of those maternity pillows (which I love/hate). I try to do a little bit of yoga in the morning which helps with the stiffness - check out the crunch's Yoga Mama video - I did it a few times and now just do some of the poses from the video when I first wake up. Good luck!

Re: 31 weeks and very mild cramping

Last July when I was 27 weeks with DS I had mild cramping... turned out I was having contractions every 3-4 mins. I was in L&D for 2 days... I was dehydrated. Drink lots of water!!!
