32 weeks/SO exhausted...
I feel like this week has been so exhausting for me. I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary. It's not like I'm doing hardcore exercising or anything, just the usual, shopping, etc. But I feel so tired today. Last night I went to bed early, like 9:30, and my husband let me sleep in this morning, and I ended up sleeping until 11am! And I still feel tired!
Were you guys this tired at 32 weeks and on? I feel like I'm supposed to be getting that "nesting" energy, not having no energy at all!

I totally felt that way around that time. The funny thing was that I wasn't even working and still felt tired all the time.

I'm not working right now either. I'm a teacher so I have off for a few more weeks. I'm dreading going back in September because I don't feel like i'll have the energy for it.

Re: 32 weeks/SO exhausted...
I was exhausted throughout my entire pregnancy - I never got that boost of energy that some women get towards the end! Remember, your making a baby, as a good friend of mine used to say to me "it's like climbing a mountain every day"

Re: 32 weeks/SO exhausted...
How is your GD? I know they say that can make you less energetic? But honestly between getting close to the end and the heat - I can see how one can be exhausted.
I never had that extreme exhaustion during my pregnancy. Towards the end of the my pregnancy, I slept worse so I would be a little more tired...but does help prepare you for when the baby comes and you get no sleep (unless you are a lucky one who gets a baby who sleeps great from the beginning).
PS - I never got the nesting instinct!
Getting so close now!!!!!!!

Re: 32 weeks/SO exhausted...
I was tired at the endof my pregnancy and all I wanted to do was sleep. I got the nesting period the day before my due date so you still ahve time but some people don't get it at all.

Re: 32 weeks/SO exhausted...
Niecey -- so far my GD has been pretty good. They say that you can get fatigue from your levels being off, i don't remember if that's too high, or too low, but they are always pretty much within range anyway. The other day my BS got down to 63 after lunch! I had an egg salad sandwich and a pickle! I was shocked. But after the next meal it was back to it's usual 80-90 or so.
I actually had an appt with the nutritionist today but got there and it was cancelled because she's on vacation. They said they left me a message but i never got it!! Grr...
My sleeping has gotten more sporadic. I do find that I spend a lot of time up and just laying there awake at night now. I also have had to do a lot of running around this week, so maybe that contributed also.
I just have to keep telling myself, less then 8 weeks to go!
