33 week appointment and furniture news!
So I had my 33 weeks appointment. Although I did not have a sonogram the Dr. feels the baby is still breech as do I. I can pretty much feel what I think is the head and it stays in relatively the same spot at all times.
Anyone had any tips? My SIL said to put ice packs on the top of my belly because the baby tends to move away from it. I am terrified of a C-section and would really rather not have to schedule one. If it is an emergency situation, that is a different story, but to schedule it makes me very uneasy.
Other than that, I gained 2 more pounds which makes a whopping total of 9lbs at 33 weeks. I go back on Dec. 9th and unless he is absolutely sure the baby is head down, they will do another sono to determine exact position.
I also got the callt that my furniture from buybuybaby is in. They will be delivering it on Dec. 10!!!!!

Jen, there's still time for baby beagle to move into position.
If you must have a cs, its truly not that bad, although of course you'd prefer to go naturally.
That's great about your furniture.
Can't help you w/ trying to get the baby to move.

Congrats on a generally good apt and the furniture news. I'm with you on the c-section. I'm dreading it and the fact that baby dodge is measuring large makes the chances that much greater. I've recently began to accept the ineviable though.

This is going to sound nuts, but when my friend's DS was breech her doctor suggested periodically playing music directly in between her legs. The kid turned; I don't know if the radio worked, but the kid turned!
Good luck!

My baby A is breech also. I can't believe it because he was vertex from 20 weeks to about 27 and baby B was transverse. Then they decide to move - B goes to vertex and A goes to breech!!! I am also very scared of a c-section, I don't know if he can still turn though. One of my friends told me she knew someone who sat on a radio and the baby turned. It sounds weird but maybe worth a try!

This is a combination of the advice in the previous posts but in the childbirth class I took, the instructor said you should put an ice pack at the top of your belly AND play music between your legs and shine a light up there too! She said the baby should want to turn away from the cold and move towards the light and music.
It's a harmless trick to try!

OMG!!!! i'm picturing this right now
i'm sorry that your little one is breeched... is the doc going to attempt to turn the baby? there is also still a chance that the baby will turn by him/herself spontaneously, right?
for the baby to TURN!!!!!
