Every year we watch the VMA's....
and every year we feel a little bit older.
We try to *guess* who people are, and we both get it wrong. I do better than DH though....
Am I really that old, or are there just so many one hit wonders these days???

I have no idea who anyone is....the people doing the interviews, or the people interviewing!!!
Besides the old guy who's worked at MTV for 100 years.....
I also find myself getting more and more annoyed with the people....another sign of getting old!

So sad.... I didn't even realize they were on. It used to be the VMAs were a *night* for me complete with junk food and excitement over watching the stars.......

I feel like I have to watch... otherwise, I don't know. It's my way of keeping my finger on the pulse of what's happening I guess.
These "musicians" today are a bit more annoying than back in our hey day though... everything is just a bit more showy, a bit more lazy and a lot more self-entitlement.

That was our thoughts too and we turned it off and will wait for the show to start at 9pm.
MTV used to be about music....now it's all talk, talk and talk.......gd, it's like the oscars now! ETA: Except pettier and of less importance!
