35 Weeks....
today!! I can't believe in 5 weeks I will meet my baby boy! Starting to get nervous for the actual day. It's my first so I don't know what to expect! This weekend I am going to start washing clothes and have DH start putting bassinet, Swing, bouncer etc. together. Anything else I should be doing to prepare?

Re: 35 Weeks....
Go to see a movie! I haven't seen one in 5 years! Not worth it to hire a babysitter.

This, I ended up delivering very shockingly at 1 day shy of 36 weeks after suddenly developing crazy high blood pressure. Enjoy your time now!

Pack hospital bag and get the car seat installed
I agree with the others, go on a few dates too if you're up for them. I miss going out. We used to go to dinner and movies all the time. Now it's maybe twice a year.
And don't worry about the big day! I was so nervous too, but all went well!

35 Weeks....
I'm 36 weeks with my second so right there with ya! I remember with my first being so calm and when contractions started at 38 weeks I had no idea I was in labor! so it can def be earlier than 5 weeks! I would wash clothes, get some together you'll need once baby is home, sanitize bottles and pacifiers (if using them), install car seat, pack bag and yes sleep and go on date nights!!
We actually just went on a lunch date yesterday and it was so nice to sit outside by the water and relax!! I ready to be done now at this point though! Lol

35 Weeks....
Make sure the bills are set up for autopay or that at least your husband knows what goes on in your house regarding the business of running a home. when i had my ds some stuff fell through the cracks, like submitting a kind of important form on time. also the cleaning lady came while we were in the hospital and obv no one was home. it was all fine, nothing to stress over, but when i was first home from the hospital, iw ould get stressed when the mail came bc i was like the only one who knew about paying the bills and stuff like that. we had just moved so in our case things were a bit more hectic. Also, you may want to get your hair cut and nails done. I looked like a wild woman when I gave birth to my son and it was a long time before i was able to get a haircut. now i know to do that in the month before birth. plus it makes you feel nice. Pack your hospital bag and also you can get some drinks and snacks to bring to the hospital. Like me and my husband are addicted to Coke Zero so we need to bring it to the hospital so we dont go broke at the vending machine. lol. Even if you are totally unprepared, it will all be fine. We put together most of my son's stuff when we got home from the hospital. My dh put the car seat in the car while I was in the hospital. I had a csection so we were there a few days and honestly he needed to get out of the hospital for a bit bc he was losing his mind, so it really didnt matter. Some people like to cook some freezer meals so they have dinner ready for their first nights home -- baked ziti, shepards pie, casseroles. But ;look up how long those stay good in the freezer before making them.

Great advice, especially getting hair done and stuff, may seem silly now but you will want to feel fresh. I had a horrible hair color job and was about to get it fixed (like should have gotten money back that bad) and had to deliver early and my hair looked like I died it high on meth,
