I have been eating them, just make sure the dressing doesn't contain anchovies.

Re: Can I have a caesar salad?
Here are the ingredients for Panera Caesar Dressing (from the website)
Caesar dressing (soybean oil, water, egg yolk, celery, onion, vinegars [red wine and distilled], contains less than 2% anchovy powder [dextrin, anchovy extract {fish}, salt], dehydrated garlic, sugar, Worcestershire sauce [distilled vinegar, molasses, corn syrup, water, salt, caramel color, garlic powder, sugar, spices, tamarind, natural flavor], salt, spices, lemon juice concentrate, xanthan gum, polysorbate 60, citric acid, potassium sorbate as a preservative, propylene glycol alginate, ascorbic acid, calcium disodium EDTA added to protect flavor, turmeric, paprika),

Re: Can I have a caesar salad?
i thought all salads were a no no because they have likely been 'sitting around' for awhile - thus gaining bacteria....

No, I eat salads out all the time.. The nurse educator in my OB office told us it was the salad bars you need to be wary of. Which is fine by me, because most salad bars/buffets skeeve me.

Re: Can I have a caesar salad?
I had contacted Panera corporate office online...asked if raw egg is used in their Ceasar. ( I know, I'm a nerd). ...
They told me yes, but that it is from pasteurized eggs.
That technically means you can eat it, but I still chickened out and haven't eaten it.

Yeah, but I would think even if the egg is pasteurized, it's still raw, so that really shouldn't make a difference.

Actually as long as the eggs are pastuerized, it should be fine. THe pasteurization would kill any salmonella, that's the main concern I believe.
Many condiments contain raw egg, including mayo. That's why it's important to know if they are using pasteurized eggs, and it's not recommended to eat homemade mayo or dressings b/c most people don't use pasteurized eggs when making these items.
Me, I err on the side of caution and just don't eat many things that I am not 100% sure about. But I believe almost any bottled dressing or mayo has to have pasteurized eggs as part of the whole process. It's the homemade stuff you have to watch.
