What do you have over your kitchen cabinets?
Looking for new decorating ideas ....
Right now I have a collection of white teapots, and every christmas I've filled the space with poinsttias, but my brother said last year "AGAIN with the fake flowers?!?!" SO maybe its time for something new!
ETA: I dont have alot of space between the cabinets and the ceiling so that makes it harder! Image Attachment(s):

Our cabinets go to the ceiling... my mother has a soffit..
I like your collection and I like your flowers! Since you want to switch it up, maybe for the holidays you can do small groupings of red and green electric candles and add some lighted pine boughs (fake) in between?
I love your teapot collection! They're adorable and add personality to your kitchen!!!

Here is what I have up right now. I need to add a few things. I love going to Home Goods and finding new stuff for that area. For Christmas last year, I put different Snowman & Santa's up in that space and took the other things down. I have some figurines and cookie jars that I put up there for Christmas.

Thanks! "Good Food, Good Friends, Good Times". I bought it at Home Goods awhile ago, but they have signs like that all the time.

i have never even thought about putting stuff up there to decorate.... our cabinets almost touch the ceiling so i dont know how much i would actually fit up there

I have very high ceilings so I have plenty of space for platters and large things. I like what you have, including the silk flowers. If you are happy with them, I'd say do it again and eff your brother. If you do want to change it up, how about real pine boughs with some mini-lights? That is what I put on top of my china cabinet every year and I love how it looks.

I have decorative baskets (that double as storage) and canisters above mine. I really like the way the pointsettias look though! Maybe you can switch it up this year with some garland and twinkle lights?

We have a few knick-knacks up there, but I really like the way it adds character to the kitchen. Some dried flowers, a glass vase filled with seashells, a whimsical-looking teapot and a few other things.
Sorry, you're not getting a picture because my kitchen is a mess and my mom is cooking at the present time.
