36 week dr's apt today...

Actually I am 35 weeks 6 days today - but they called it the 36 weeks apt.

Growth sono looks good but her estimated weight is 7lbs 9 oz. They are pretty sure it is fairly accurate b.c I have been having regular sonos for a while now. She is measuring at 39 weeks and the sono edd is 6/9. So they think I will go soon but not sure when - but the dr scheduled me for induction on 6/26 IF I haven't gone by then. So she will definitely be here by 6/26 if not much sooner!

They say the reason I am so uncomfortable is that the extra fluid is making my stomach measure at 40 weeks - so the dr tells me I will feel like I am 40 weeks until I finally deliver. My BP is perfect but I am having swelling so I have been banned to air conditioning places only...lol.

Please say a prayer that she comes before 6/26 b.c I fear she will be huge by then.

Just let her wait until next week as we are moving to our new house tomorrow.

wow, i can't believe you are measuring to 39 weeks already! Your profile says she was suppose to be due the end of June, were the doctors totally wrong with your EDD?

Scary part is NO they weren't - they don't know why she is measuring big - she looks healthy and I don't have GD or any other issues other than she might have a TE fistula/Esoph atresia and I have excess fluid. I had an amnio which came back normal back at 23 weeks.

They think she is just a larger baby - which is why they have no clue when I will go. But the dr wants to induce me by 6/26 if I haven't gone by then b/c she might be close to 10 lbs and there is concern of shoulder dystocia when they are that size.

I am glad that the baby and you are doing good because that is what matters the most. She is a Healthy Baby!

MY baby is weighing in at 6.2 pounds at my 35 week appointment.

I can so relate to your swelling. This has become so painful for me and I can't even imagine if I was measuring bigger.
