Dr. called.. 12/22/08.. might have a Christmas miracle!?!
well i came back home on sunday and decided to test since AF was due.. and i got a positive.. i was so happy and excited..
then the next morning which was yesterday i took another test in the AM and it was fainter so it raised a flag and i called the OB..
they said i have to go in to get my numbers checked.. thats scheduled for tomorrow...
but now... this morning i woke up and was bleeding.. there was a good amount.. soaked up a tampon.. when i took that one out.. i decided why not, let me test again to see how faint it is.. but it was even darker.. and the bleeding stopped.. but i still think its a chemical pregnancy.. i honestly dont think its viable.. i am going to the doctor at 3:15 today to get bloodwork done..
does this ever end

first.. i am so thankful to have all your support.. it truly helps! and keep the prayers coming!
ok.. so went to the doctor last night.. i saw the nurse practitioner so it wasnt my own doc..but i didnt care at this point...
she confirmed that i AM PG.. but only by a faint line on their test.. not sure if thats bad or not.. but she did take notice that i was only 1 day late of AF.
she did an internal saw that i was bleeding .. but didnt say anything about it really... just that it could be normal or not of course..
then they did the bloodwork in which by around 1pm today i should get the first round of numbers.. and i go back tomorrow for more bloodwork..
she then told my regular OB about what was going on.. i ran into him in the hallway so i chatted for a min with him.. he said lets wait and see what the numbers do and the bleeding could be all normal.. so i had to take it as "try not to panic"
now as of today i am still bleeding ..but not spotting at all on the pad.. it just comes out when i use the bathroom.. its so weird to me..  but i hate that i see blood KNOWING that i am PG ... it doesnt feel good at all.. and especially with what happened last time.. it just brings back bad memories..
now when she calls i want to ask her something that i didnt think of... my sister actually brought it up to my attention...
that is... did she feel if my cervix was shut or open?? i wonder why she didnt say??

Dr. UPDATE #1 ***************
well i dont think its looking good.. i just feel it i suppose.. 
she said my beta was 22.. and its really low.. i dont know anything about beta's and the numbers.. but i am realistic and know its not good at all...
she did say that it "could" be a very early pregnancy as i am only 2 days late.. but i am not so confident anymore..
now the only thing that will tell us for sure is our 2nd round of bloodwork tomorrow... if it goes up.. and doubles its good... if it goes down .. then i am miscarrying again
if i do miscarry , i pray that i dont have to get a D&C.. i cant go through this again... i really cant .. i am at a loss..
why is this happening to me AGAIN
i cant be here at work.. i am just crying my eyes out looking like an idiot
UPDATE 12/22.............................................................
first.. sorry it took me awhile to update.. but i wanted to get some more info...
well i had a 2nd beta.. it actually doubled!
went from a 22 to a 42..
then i had a 3rd beta..
this is where i dont have a good feeling at all.
i called the docs office cause i still havent gotten a call back with the results..
the receptionist gave me the numbers herself  with no explanations at all.. nothing.. just numbers..
well these set of beta's are 42 to 62.. it didnt double ..but went up
now i am just sitting here waiting for the doctor to call me back.. (she is not my doctor) and i have NO idea when this will be.. but all i know is that i am angry, sad, and heartbroken..
i really dont think its good.. the numbers are so low.. and the last round didnt double.. i have no idea what this means..
another update... 12/22.........................................................
so the Dr. called me back and she was very sympathedic.. she knew i was upset... so she said... dont worry.. your numbers went up!! she also mentioned that it was in the right percentile.. and its a VERY early pregnancy... only like 2 weeks..  i thought that was the time around Ovulation.. so that confuses me.. but i will just go with a VERY early pregnancy.. and go from there..
anyways.. i have to go back on friday to get another blood draw.. but things are looking OKAY for now !! and i just hope this one sticks!!
i thank you again SO much for your prayers.. they are working!!

please don't lose hope until you see the doctor....MANY people have bleeding in the beginning of their pregnancies. I am so sorry you are going through this

Oh Deanna - I am so very sorry you are going through this right now. Stay strong though!! When I was pregnant - I bled for a day - a LOT - I soaked (and even had clumps - sorry for the TMI) through 3 LONG OVERNIGHT PADS in about an hour and then it stopped!! Baby hung in there and was OK!!! STAY STRONG TILL YOU GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!!!

deanna i KNOW this is so much easier said than done but please try and stay positive - many women have bleeding early in their pregnancies and even think for sure that AF has arrived.
i am not trying to get your hopes up, god knows that's not what you need right now, but i do want you to remain realistic - this could be it for you, you never know. best of luck to you!
