NPR: What do you do with yourself when you loose your best friend?
This is not where this belongs but i post here the most and I am so lost, long story short my best friend past away last night after being in the hospital for a short 2 days. She has 3 children and a husband.... I am so lost right now and cant function today. It is such a shock that I am never going to hear her voice, her laugh or our children playing in her huge kitchen again without her there. This is so crazy, I am so sorry I am venting but i am so numb. We went to college together and were in each others weddings and so forth.... Why do people have to leave us at such a young age.....
Update:
I just wanted to say THANK YOU for your words, fm and thoughts. It is so hard but time will heal the pain. Im sorry it took so long to get back to everyone, but it has just been crazy... Thanks again and so happy to be part of this board.

I also lost a friend when I was a child, but its different...I think you need to turn to your faith and belief in God (if you have). KNow that your friend is in Heaven watching over you and her children. This is so sad. Its shocking to know that you wont see her again but maybe give it a little time and think of a way to honor and rememeber her....so sorry
