Double curtain rod BUT has to have 4 inch clearance to fit over my shades
I looked in Jcpenney..they have double but not like that.
Anyone know where I can get something like this??

My DH put a small piece of wood on the wall first, then attached the rod to that to make it come out of the wall the 5" we needed.

I have shades and the box comes out of the wall about 3 1/2 inches. I kind of wanted a rod to go over that box but having trouble finding it.

Try the curtain store in Massapequa on Sunrise Hwy thats where I bought mine

I got wrought iron ones --- I think at The Curtain Store in Massapequa. I had the same problem.

Try Pottery Barn - I had the same issue in DD's room and theirs had enough clearance.
