38weeks and 4 CM Dialated....pics too

Ok so I thought I was 36 w but I went today and found out I am 38! He is measuring 7lbs14oz and I am 4 cm dialated! I have my next appointment next Wednesday.....what are your opinions? Will I go that long? Should I be in the hosp at this point? I am a lil freaked out and not sure how long I can be dialated without anything happening.

Any info would be great

u might go tonight or tomorrow u are not far from 10cms u are right there.

Wow 4 cm's already! That's great!

You'll probably go in a few days. I've heard of people being a few cm's dilated for a few weeks. But i give you only 3 days at most.

I am also 38 weeks and according to an internal today I am just about 3cm dilated and 80% effaced. They are hoping I go into labor naturally by monday.

eta - NST's (non stress tests) do show I am having contractions however, I do not feel them yet which they told me is totally normal.
